Concur | Brand Identity Design

Ink making has been a very serious business for centuries. Evidence of the successful longevity of ancient inks is present today in Neolithic cave paintings, which are still being studied today. 

Salmoni is a boutique brand that focuses on reviving the art of handmade ink. Offering high quality handcrafted ink for typography enthusiasts, an identity system was needed to reinforce the brand's image of offering high quality ink.
A mono-gram was needed to represent in case the full name wasn't an option.
The name was typed out using a boutique typeface to represents the brand's quality products and elegance.

Concur specializes in constructing sustainable and eco-friendly infrastructure with the goal to help our planet. In order to achieve the level of sustainability needed for each project the company often collaborate with scientists and experts, hence the name Concur.

The task was to design an identity system for the company in order to give them a competitive advantage over they're more established competitors. Through the initial brief, we knew that the identity of the company needs to pay some sort of homage to the word "Concur" or at least the idea of unity. The final mark is a simplified version of an image that perfectly encapsulates the idea. Sustainability is often associated with the color green, but we wanted to counteract this cliche to create a more sophisticated identity. So rich black was chosen as the main color.
